Like the stories on this site? Have an idea for a story, but don't want to write it?
Well, that's where I come in! I have decided to offer up my services as a writer to the ABDL community. Now, what does that mean for all of you?
To start, I am now willing to write stories by commission. That is, if you have an idea for a story you'd like to read, then I'll do the work for you. Provide as much information you want (setting, character, plot outline, etc.), and I'll fill in the blanks. Think of me as a diapered little ghostwriter.
In addition to writing commissioned stories, I am also going to start offering proofreading/editing services. There are quite a few ABDL stories out there, and many of them are in serious need of some proofreading and editing. This doesn't mean the stories are bad; all writers could use an extra pair of eyes. And that's where I can help. Believe it or not, I actually love reading stories, even bad ones. My philosophy is that even bad stories have a diamond buried beneath the dirt.
If you'd like to see a sample of my writing, just look around at the stories on this blog. They will indicate my own personal writing style. I am open to a great variety of genres and writing styles, so let me know if you have a particular preference. Of course, there are limits. For restrictions and limitations, please look below.
As for my credentials with editing, I'm a part-time college English instructor and tutor. I have an MA in English, and I'm currently working on my PhD. For now, you'll just have to take my word for it because I like to keep my ABDL life separate from my adult life. However, if you'd like more proof, just ask. I'm willing to discuss the finer details of my education and experience with you, short of anything that might lead to my true identity.
If you've made it this far, great! Below are some questions you may have if you want to solicit my services.
What do I (the client) need to provide?
In order to write the kind of story you want, I will need some information about your preferences. Please, provide something more than "I want a diaper story." While I'll be able work with that, my first priority is to make you happy with the story, and a vague statement like that just opens the door to any type of story. Of course, if that's what you want, then don't be mad if the story you get back is a piece that doesn't meet your desires.
I will need the following to create your story: genre, character(s), setting, plot, specific situations, erotic, non-erotic, basically whatever turns you on as a reader. You don't have to provide a ton of details, but give me an idea of what you like.
By the way, your story does not have to be ABDL. Although I'm catering to the ABDL community for the moment, that doesn't mean I'm unwilling to write something outside of the ABDL lifestyle.
What are you (that is, me, the writer) willing to write about?
I am open to a wide variety of genres, but you should know that I have no experience with period pieces. That doesn't mean I'm unwilling to try, but a period piece will take more time due to the research I'll have to conduct.
Despite my willingness to write almost anything, there are some restrictions:
1. Nothing involving kids (under 18). I'm serious on this.
2. No fan-fiction. I don't want to make money off of someone else's work. Plus, I'm just not that immersed, or interested, in the world of fanfic.
3. If I'm uncomfortable with a topic, I reserve the right to say "No," though I will do so politely.
How long will it take to get my story?
This is hard to answer. Writing takes time, unfortunately, especially because multiple drafts are necessary. I will work my hardest to get your story back to you in a timely manner.
Naturally, the length of the story you want will affect how long it takes to write.
Longer story = More time
Shorter story = Less time
To be fair, I will always let you know when I'm taking longer than usual to write a story. A good thing to remember is that I am in school and do have to work, so the fall and spring semesters will be super busy for me. During the summer I have less to do; therefore, I will have more time to write.
Services and pricing?
Ah! Here we go. Word count will determine pricing. But don't worry. I won't fill up your story with unnecessary words just to get a higher price. And, I ask for an approximate word count up front, which I will do my best to hit. That way, there won't be any surprises when it comes to pricing.
If you're unsure of length, I'm providing approximate word counts for the stories on this blog.
"Michael and the Witch-Doctor's Solution" 1,582 words.
"One Great Night" 2,547 words
"Pygmalion" 7,239 words
"Ganymede" 22,015 words and counting...
*I am also willing to accept non-fiction material as well. This could include anything from true stories to website posts (for example, website owners who may not have a great command of English writing).
Pricing is the same for commissioned stories and proofreading services.
Up to 10,000 words: $0.005 per word
At this rate:
500 words = $2.50
1,000 words = $5
1,500 words = $7.50
2,000 words = $10
5,000 words = $25
10,000 words = $50.
Borderline word counts are negotiable. I will usually round down when it comes to word counts.
10,000+ words: Anything higher than 10,000 words will need to be negotiated.
Editing Services:
There is a difference between proofreading and editing. When I proofread a work, I am only looking to correct grammar, punctuation, and basic formatting issues. Nothing more.
Editing is where I'll do all of the above in addition to editing for content. This means I'll make suggestions regarding plot, character, dialogue, descriptions, logical flow, etc. Editing requires more time and effort; therefore, the rates will have to be higher to compensate.
Up to 10,000 words: $0.0075 per word
At this rate:
500 words = $3.75
1,000 words = $7.50
1,500 words = $11.25
2,000 words = $15
5,000 words = $37.50
10,000 words = $75
10,000+ words: Anything higher than 10,000 words will need to be negotiated.
When it comes to both proofreading and editing services, my comments are only suggestions and nothing personal. I want to make your work the best it can be. So, if you don't like my comments, feel free to disregard them. However, if I spend my time and energy on your story, then it's only fair that I should be compensated.
How do I contact you?
For the moment, I will accept inquiries through email. Just send me a detailed message, and I'll answer you within 48 hours.
Send inquiries to: bbyboyeric428@gmail.com
If I accept your inquiry, I'll immediately begin work on the project. I won't ask for payment until the project is finished. As a show of good faith, I'll send you the opening portion of the story to make sure it's up to your standards/expectations. If the story is meeting your expectations at that point, I'll send an email requesting payment via PayPal. After the payment has been transmitted, you'll receive the full story in a PDF.
Thank you for reading this far. Doing so demonstrates interest. I look forward to working with you and providing the ABDL community with my experience and expertise.
Best,
Eric (aka bbyboyeric & dprderic)
